Mrs. Leyland offers more than a decade of experience in the Banking and Property and Casualty Insurance industry. She is known for her charismatic and amicable approach to organizational changes. She has a reputation for strong leadership skills, project management skills, and effective cross-cultural communication skills. She has experience in dealing with International markets through her family owned business across Asia.
Mrs. Leyland earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, a Masters in Business Administration and is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Business Administration program with an emphasis in International Business. Her area of doctoral dissertation research investigates how ones culture affects strategic management particularly among women executives in the International arena.
Mrs. Leyland is a Fluent/native speaker of both English and Tagalog.
Mrs. Leyland has shared of her significant experience in interpersonal communications, strategic management, and effective communicationat many venues . Mrs. Leyland is a member of Sociologists for Women in Society particularly in the International Committee, and has been an active follower of the Asian American Business Development Center.
An area of Mrs. Leyland’s specific expertise is in “understanding how culture affects executives decision vis a vis strategic implementation with which to make changes locally and/or globally.” Her presentations inevitably cover topics which include understanding culture as it relates to business, using technology to provide insight of different cultures business norms. She also interacts with her session attendees in discussing, one-on-one, personal goals to evaluate an individuals strengths and weaknesses. Her session topics may include:

- how interpersonal communication varies amongst cultures
- how learned behavior affects foreign business relations
- strategy and resources to understand specific country’s culture
