The Global Executive Training and Development Association accomplishes its Mission by:
• Providing on-going opportunities for the development of professional skills – and concurrent opportunities to accrue experience – for global executives from all over the world. This includes an on-going process to allow for the delivery of its innovative training and development programmes to active, in-work, global professionals as well at to aspiring global practitioners.
• In adhering to its belief in the development, education and training of global professionals, GETDA maintains strong fraternal links with tightly-knit group of fraternal organizations which have displayed themselves as kindred training and educational entities. Such organizations provide Global Executives with constantly-updated knowledge, skills and experience with which to function in a constantly-evolving global arena.
• Ensuring that are programme offerings are regularly reviewed by the Chairman of GETDA – who seeks the advice of organizational and business leaders from around the world – to ensure programme quality. In addition, by ensuring that only GETDA-approved practitioner-facilitators are invited to conduct its training and development programmes worldwide.
• Ensuring, in addition, that all such training and development is led by senior global professionals, recognized academics and individuals who have served as role models to the worldwide community of global executives. In all cases, these individuals are recognized as having achieved success in some aspect of global endeavour. Other GETDA training/seminar leaders are renowned global management authors, educators and researchers who have received recognition and accolades for their work to educate other global practitioners. These accomplished individuals have demonstrated excellence in the practice of their global profession.
• Validating the accrual of such development of professional global skills and experience by arranging the awarding of credentials from globally-recognized, accredited, academic institutions upon attendees/participants …such that they add lustre to each participants growth and success in the international community .
• Providing an international organization which specifically looks to issues of interest to all active trans-national professionals.
• Cultivating – among all interested academic institutions, professional bodies, governments etc – an awareness of the peerless value of the global executive in this new millennium.
