Dr. Ranasinghe is the Principal of the Global Executives Training and Development Association. He is a University Professor, a consultant to the Boards of US, European and Asian organizations and an international business expert focusing on, socio-religio-cultural issues, international relations, and effective leadership techniques for the modern global business arena. He earned two doctorates (Human Behavior and International Business) and apart from other academic qualifications and awards he has – three times – been voted Faculty Person of the year – by his colleagues and Graduate/doctoral students – at one of the largest University in the United States.

Dr. Ranasinghé’s experience includes 40 years of successful responsibility as a Director of International business/corporate operations and educational entities. With his State and Federal clients he continues to lend of his lengthy experience in the vital area of introduction, negotiation and contract development between senior leaders at governmental agencies and prestigious organizations around the world. He assists in matters concerning global outreach and in global development issues. Among Dr. Ranasinghé’s areas of special expertise has been successfully guiding growth of organizations which hold global ambitions and in successfully coordinating interaction between American, European and Asian entities, an area of special expertise is in the means to overcome/lessen constraints to such liaisons. Dr. Ranasinghé is an expert in swiftly bringing ‘client’ organizations together with the most senior ‘decision makers’ at appropriate overseas state & Federal agencies, professional bodies, government agencies and Universities around the world, in a positive environment so relationships flourish, and create more rational, fiscally-viable, avenues of access for client organizations as they make forays all over the world.
In all his executive development/training endeavour Dr. Ranasinghé is ably supported by his personal contacts, government leaders, business luminaries, administrators, the senior-most Directors at Universities and entrepreneurs from around the world. These personal contacts – upon his request – research, assay opportunities for beneficial liaisons for his clients, lend their expertise to his efforts as specific needs arise, and generally assist Dr. Ranasinghé in bringing burgeoning liaisons to fruition.
Dr. Ranasinghé is Chairman of a privately-held global consultancy working with Federal/state and private organizations to provide Strategic country Risk Analyses, overseas governmental leadership introductions, Business to business Senior Executive introductions/Familiarization/contact, Global Human Resources Management consultancy services, international Financial Management, and Senior Executive Professional Development Programs for staff appointed to international posts.
He is Principal Consultant to the Chairmen & Boards of several International Investment groups.
In addition Dr. Ranasinghé is the Chairman of a consortium of academics intent on supporting the implementation/placement/establishment of British & American Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and doctoral programs at fraternal (state-chartered) institutions around the world.. He continues his supervision of Joint degree programs proffered – through his efforts – at nationally-charted, degree-level, institutions in Southern Europe, The Middle East, various ASEAN countries/S.E.Asia, Central and South America.
